I tried to case swap my pc earlier today but my motherboard didn’t fit ( I have the hp omen 25L) and my d drive doesn’t show up. I have connected it to the power supply the hdd cable has been plugged in but I’m not if it’s right .

Trying to paint a picture of what happened.
Did you try to install a different MB in the Omen case or did you install the Omen MB in a different case? This is not a critical item but an Omen uATX MB should work in a different case that supports uATX MBs. A retail uATX MB should work in an Omen case.
You rebuilt the Omen PC using HP factory parts and the Omen case. The HDD is not detected in Windows since you rebuilt the Omen PC.
This HDD came with the Omen PC and it was working before you tried the case swap.
You either have a bad power connection or bad data connection or something was damaged (the HDD, MB SATA port, or the SATA cables/connectors) when doing the case swap.
Try all available MB SATA ports and try a different SATA data cable. Try a different SATA power connection if available.
Try the HDD in a different PC if possible.
You have a bad connection somewhere or something was damaged when doing the case swap.
