Product: HP Desktop PC ProDesk 400 G1 or K1K77UT#ABA
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)
Memory Extensive Check: Failed
Failure ID: RU7SMT-000BHU-QDUWL1-404C03
Product ID: K1K77UT#ABA
I did an Extensive System Test on this computer that is unable to start. I am wondering if by memory it is talking about RAM or Hard Drive memory. If it's one of the RAM sticks then it shouldn't be too hard to fix.

Yes.

The failure is a memory module, according to the diagnostic error.
