Welcome to our HP User Forum!
Yes, you can -preferable in the 2 x 4GB RAM configuration (to gain dual-mode RAM performance), but to be honest, I would recommend 2 x 8GB RAM for your HP All-in-One 24-df1023w (1J7R4AA) for best software performance. It is also recommended to have matching (same brand, model, capacity) RAM sticks.
According to: https://support.hp.com/sg-en/document/c08262222, and: https://support.hp.com/sg-en/document/c06945606, your AIO is fitted with the Row motherboard (SSID: 87F3), which shows that your AIO can even accept up to 2 x 16GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered UDIMM/SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks -but you likely won't need that much RAM.

Hope this was helpful.
