Memory upgrade 30L Omen

Product: Omen desktop 30L
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just recently got the Omen 30L desktop, i got the 8gb ram thinking I could upgrade it later but i’m just now finding out about all the ram issues. Too late for me to return and i have already dropped $1500 into it, is there any way i can upgrade to 2 sticks of hyper x fury 8gb ram and it work?? I really do love the computer but I wish that HP would have stated it’s nearly impossible to upgrade and i would have just purchased the one with 2 sticks...or a complete other pc lol. Super frustrating and Im not the most tech savvy! Any help is greatly appreciated i just want 16gb of ram.

What is your Omen desktop 30L  ? Must be Omen desktop 30L -something. For example

You should be able to buy same existing RAM and install it to slot 2.
