I have a Desktop pc 251-a123wb. I have a 4GB DDR3 1600 PC3 12800 stick of RAM will it work in my system? And how do I add it?

Your motherboard accepts up to 8GB.
If you want the upgrade to work properly the first time, only install memory in pairs of modules that have the exact specifications. Otherwise, it will be a frustrating hit or miss proposition and not the pleaseant upgrade that you expect.
