Product: HP Laptop PC 15-dw3000 (1A3Y0AV)

Good day all

I had upgrade my HP11th gen intel(r) core(tm) i5-1135g7  laptop's memory with a 8Gb memory chip. However every now and then I get an error message that you have experienced an unexpected error and need to restart what, causes that error to occur? Are the memory chip compatible with my laptop? I had it done by a computer shop so have ni idea as to the make of the chip? Is there any way form to see what chip it is without opening up my laptop?
