im back once again aha, what you sent the second time worked but it still shows my old BIOS version.

It should have updated to v1.13, and if you followed the instructions, unfortunately I have no idea why the BIOS didn't update.

 

But that is your issue, I believe.  v1.04 has the microcode update for the processor your PC has.

 

What I don't understand is why the PC didn't work right out of the box originally when it came from HP, unless someone updated the original processor it came with and ran into that issue.

 

The PC you have is 8-9 years old, so someone owned it before you did.
