I currently own a old HP computer, with a HP pavilion a6000 hardrive. Recently, my computer would restart by itself for no apparent reason. So I decided to give my hardrive a clean, hoping it would resolve the problem as I am unsure of the root cause. Since doing this, each time I would switch on the hardrive, my minotor will go straight to sleep and the hard drive will restart on its own constantly. My monitor won't even reach the log in page. I never had this problem before I cleaned the hard drive. Is this an issue with the power supply or something else? I'm unsure what to do so I am seeking advice.

I know we share a common language, but it's in a different context. Will attempt to translate your inquiry. I will add value to decipher your question. First of all, not sure what your meaning of gave the hard drive a "clean" involves. As WIN 10 does an auto-defrag, maybe your meaning of clean was harmful to the Windows folder.
You have an HP a6000 circa 2007 that was original Vista OS. The hard drive is also circa 2007. The hard drive is problematic, and when you turn on the computer, the hard drive cycles constantly, thus it will not boot. That means it can not achieve the logon screen. First unplug the hard drive, and attempt to boot. I want to know what happens. A message should appear that you have no boot device/drive. That would man your motherboard survived. If all is OK, proceed.
Win 10 creates a unique product key that is embedded into the NRAM of the BIOS. So, your in luck.
Need an 8GB USB drive: Create a WIN 10 v1903 USB drive for a different machine.
Purchase a new 250GB to 1000 GB (aka 1TB) drive. No less, and no more.
Connect via Ethernet cable to the modem. Boot from the created USB drive to install a new WIN 10 v1903. It will format the drive, and install the OS. Important: skip the product key info, it will pick it up when it re-boots.

Hi Wb2001. Many thanks for your response. I should have been a little clearer in my first comment. By cleaning the hard drive, I meant opening up the hard drive and cleaning the machine of the dust that was built up inside. If I am to proceed with the steps below, I'm assuming I would lose data that I have not backed up on the computer? Mostly word documents to be exact. Thanks

WOW ☹️ Tell me you just meant you open the side panel of the cabinet, and dusted. The physical hard drive is never meant to be opened unless your in a "sterile clean room". Picture of a hard drive.
OK I asked a question, and your not answering. What happened with NO hard drive connected?
If the hard drive is still "spinning" it is possible too retrieve all your data files using a simple external device.

Hi there, apologies for the slow response. Yes all I did was remove the side panel of the cabinet and dusted. I also followed your advice to remove the hard drive, however the same thing keeps coming up on the computer screen 'Minotor going to sleep' and the cabinet will restart continually. Please advise. Many thanks
