Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!
Your HP Desktop M01-F1224 PC (1J7P8AA), as fitted with an Erica5 motherboard (SSID: 87D7), according to: HP PartSurfer
, is fitted with an 180-watt power supply, which can power something like a GT 1030, which is completely underwhelming.
However, as per: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Knowledge-Base/Power-Supply-Cross-Reference-for-specific-model..., your desktop can be fitted with two power supply upgrade options: a 400-watt PSU with p/n: L04618-800 which has one 6+2-pin PCIe power cable, and a 500-watt PSU with p/n: L05757-800 which has one 6+2-pin PCIe and one 6-pin PCIe power cables.
These power supplies are available via various eCommerce sites, such as eBay.
With a 500-watt power supply, you can fit an RTX 2070, RTX 3060, RTX 3060, or a GTX 1080, to name a few.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
