Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
There is a branded system unit from HP. Model TPC-F124-MT with a Ryzen 5 3400G processor. Motherboard model l56021-002 (L57535-001). Will this motherboard support the Ryzen 7 5700G processor? Do I need to flash the BIOS to support it?

@Samoletoff,

Your HP Erica2 motherboard (SSID 8643) does not support the Ryzen 7 5700G. Whilst both the motherboard and processor use the AM4 socket and the processor meets the board's 65-watt TDP limit, HP has not released a BIOS update for the Erica/Erica2 motherboard (SSID: 8643) that adds compatibility for the Ryzen 5000 "Cezanne" series.

According to HP's official motherboard specifications, the highest supported processor for this specific board (p/n: L56021-002) is the Ryzen 7 3700X.

Kind Regards,
