I have a U28 Monitor that I connect to an iPad Pro via USB-C.
Yesterday the connection stopped working but I was able to reconnect using Displayport.
Today the Displayport connection stopped working.
I’ve tried rebooting the Monitor, iPad and tried a new lead - nothing works.
However, I AM able to connect to my iPad with a different monitor so I know the lead and iPad are OK.
I saw on a previous thread that if you unplugged the monitor from the mains then plugged it back in that the problem goes away. So I tried this and yes - the problem went away and I’m again able to connect the monitor to the iPad.
But this can only be a workaround - not a permanent solution.
Can anyone help?

This is an issue that would be best served at an Apple forum.

Don’t think so.
I have been using another (non-HP) monitor without any connection issues for months now - I just wanted a bigger monitor hence my purchase.
I can even reconnect my original monitor to my iPad and it works perfectly.
As I said previously, I don’t seem to be the only person who has experienced this problem, and yes unplugging the monitor from the power source and reconnecting it does make the problem go away temporarily but it does continue to happen, and this surely cannot be a permanent solution.
