HP Pavilion 27 27-inch Display

I've bought a new mini pc with windows 11.

My monitor HP pavilion 27 fhd works well. 

However, the mic in does not work, as well as Webcam is not seen at all by w11. Moreover, USB ports integrated in the monitor are not seen by pc (neither with usb-c cable connected). Could you help me?

As you have mentioned in your post that the monitor works on another PC, You have checked the Monitor cable as well as the laptop works on another computer, this definitely looks like a possible compatibility issue. Before you come to any conclusion, I would suggest you try these steps here: 

 

For now please try these steps:

  • Right-Click on the start button> click device manager> expand display adapters>then select the display drivers that are listed and right-click on it and uninstall the drivers.
  • Check the box that states to delete the software for this device.
  • Then restart the computer and update the bios chipset and graphic drivers from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers  (Please enter the product number and then select the correct Operating system).

Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.

Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.

 

If it still does not fix the issue, please perform the relevant steps for HDMI related issues from this link: HP PCs - Troubleshooting HDMI Display and Sound Issues (Windows 10, 8, 7)

Alternatively, I would suggest you can also go through this support document - HP Notebook PCs - Connecting a Monitor, Projector, or TV (Windows 10, 8, 7)

Unfortunately, your suggestions did not fix the issue and I still cannot use webcam on my Win11 PC.

Moreover, the updated drivers fron hp support website are for windows 10 (last update 2019) but not for Win11...

I see that you are facing issues with your HP pavilion 27 fhd wherein the microphone and web cam are not working..

 

Please run the updates from HP Support Assistant by following the steps listed below:
1. Download the current version from this webpage Link
2. Click on Updates and Messages to scan for new updates.
3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
You may also refer to the HP document to download and use HP Support Assistant by visiting this Link
