Product: HP Z Display Z24i 24-inch IPS LED Backlit Monitor

Hi 

 

I am trying to use my monitor as a second screen with my Dell laptop but it is not working. 
I am using an HDMI DV adapter but still not working. The laptop works fine with my other monitors but not this HP one. 

how can I get it to work?
