Hi @Tarun181, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP P27 G5 FHD Monitor is not powering on even after changing the power cable, try these troubleshooting steps:

Check Power Source

  • Plug the monitor into a different power outlet.
  • Try connecting another device to the same outlet to confirm it works.

Inspect Power Cable & Adapter

  • Ensure the power cable is firmly connected to the monitor and outlet.
  • If your monitor uses an external power adapter, try replacing it with a compatible one.

Check Power Button & LED Indicator

  • Press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds, then try turning it on.
  • If there’s no LED light, the monitor might not be receiving power.

Try a Different Power Cable

  • Even though you’ve changed the cable, make sure you’re using a compatible one (matching voltage & wattage).
  • If possible, test with a known working adapter from another similar HP monitor.

Perform a Power Reset

  • Disconnect the monitor from power and any connected devices (HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA).
  • Hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Physical Damage

  • Inspect the power port for dust, bent pins, or damage.
  • Try gently cleaning it with compressed air.

Test with Another Device

  • If the monitor turns on but shows no display, connect it to a different PC/laptop with another cable (HDMI, DP, or VGA).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
