Dear all,
As my computer is extremely slow, I was thinking of upgrading the RAM to a more powerful one.
The current RAM is 2x 4GB. Speed: PC3L-12800 MB/s. Type: DDR3L-1600.
Can I buy an extra one of 16GB or do I need to have both with the same capacity?
I was thinking to get this one: Crucial RAM CT2KIT102464BF160B 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz CL11
Is it compatible to my computer?
thanks
Victor

Yes, you can use the memory. Here is the memory that is recommended by Crucial Memory for your AIO: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-23-q107na-touchsmart-all-in-one
If you scroll down to the last item on the page it is the one you mentioned. It is best to install a matching pair. The motherboard has "Dual channel memory architecture". This means you will get the best performance from the memory with a matching pair.
Here is the Product Specifications page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-23-q100-all-in-one-desktop-pc-series-touch/8499724/...
The information that I mentioned is in the section titled "Memory/Memory upgrade information".
