Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have an older HP Pavilian with motherboard:  Foxconn 2AB1

Is the large expansion slot PCI 2.1 compliant?

The Foxconn 2AB1's PCIe x16 expansion slot is v2.0 ( Foxconn 2AB1 Mainboard Specs (shopwilkes.net)). As far as I can tell, the differences between v2.0 and v2.1 are relatively insignificant and appear interchangeable: A Simple Instruction of PCI Express (minitool.com).
