Hello,

I am using an HP OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-1074 (Product No. 399T3AA).

Recently, the computer developed a boot issue and can no longer boot normally. We have already performed several troubleshooting steps and confirmed that the following components do not appear to be the cause:

  • RAM
  • Graphics card
  • Power supply
  • SSD / storage drive

We also tested the system with the SSD removed, but the boot problem remained. Based on these tests, we currently suspect that the motherboard may have failed, and we are considering replacing it.

The motherboard currently installed in the system is labeled:

HANA 202010-1
348.0DB32.0011
Orisa/HANA MB Rev. A

Could you please help us confirm the following?

  1. What is the exact HP spare part number for the original motherboard used in the OMEN 30L GT13-1074?
  2. Is this motherboard still available for purchase directly from HP or through an authorized HP parts supplier?
  3. We have found motherboard part numbers such as M47174-001 and M47174-601 associated with HANA motherboards. Could you please confirm whether either of these is the correct replacement for our system?
  4. If the original motherboard is no longer available, is there an officially supported replacement or successor motherboard that can be used with our existing AMD Ryzen 5 5600G CPU, NVIDIA RTX 3060 GPU, DDR4 memory, and NVMe SSD?
  5. The system also uses an additional PCIe expansion card to communicate with laboratory equipment. Therefore, we need a replacement motherboard that provides a suitable PCIe expansion slot in addition to the PCIe slot used by the RTX 3060. Could you please confirm whether any recommended replacement board supports this configuration?
  6. We would also like to preserve the existing Windows installation and software environment on the current SSD if possible. Would replacing the motherboard with the recommended HP board allow us to reuse the existing SSD and boot from it?

This PC is used to control laboratory equipment, so preserving the existing software configuration and maintaining compatibility with the PCIe interface card are very important to us.

Thank you very much for your help.

Greetings @Donghyeon

You have done great troubleshooting.

I'm thinking you swapped in a known good and compatible stick of memory. And you tried the replacement memory module in each memory slot to test for a good POST.

The AMD 5600G supports graphics if the HP MB's rear I/O provides video output (HDMI or DP).

And you then tried on-board graphics or a different, known good, discrete graphics card.

Plus you swapped in a known good and compatible PSU.

Additional troubleshooting steps you might want to try:

- Have you reset CMOS? MB CMOS reset jumpers might be available on your HP MB.

- Have you checked to see if the CR2032 MB battery needs replacement? This action resets CMOS.

- Are you testing the PC using only: a monitor, a mouse, and a keyboard? I also test systems for a good POST using only a monitor.

- Did you remove the add-in PCIe card to check for a good POST?

- Have you verified if the 5600G is working? I would check the processor before concluding the HP MB has failed.

Option 1, try a different, compatible AMD processor in your HP MB.

Option 2, install and test the HP provided 5600G in a different, compatible AMD MB.

A local PC Tech could check the 5600G.

Compatible HP Motherboards:

Use HP Part Surfer by entering "GT13-1074 at this HP Site.

HP Part Surfer confirms both: the M47174-001 MB and the M47174-601 MB are used by HP, at the factory, in the GT13-1074 PC.

It is not possible to purchase either MB at HP Part Surfer at this time.

But you might be able to find the above HP MB part numbers for sale at eBay.

Windows will work, but it may not activate, if you replace the MB. You might need to purchase a new Windows product key to activate Windows.

Regards

Hi

1. Confirmed HP spare part number for your motherboard:
Your board (HANA, 202010-1, 348.0DB32.0011) matches HP's own compatible parts list for the GT13-1074. The correct spare part numbers are M47174-001, M47174-501, and M47174-601 — all the same board, just different HP packaging/revision suffixes. This was directly confirmed on HP's own support forum, where an HP-listed compatibility table shows Compatible Part Numbers 202010-1, 348.0DB31.0011, 348.0DB34.0011, and 348.0DB32.0011 mapped to Compatible Models including the GT13-1074, with Part Number M47174-601, M47174-001, M47174-501.

2. Availability from HP directly:
These boards are generally discontinued/out of stock through HP's official parts channel at this point (common for this generation). They do turn up regularly through third-party parts resellers (Newegg, eBay, ascendtech, compuparts) as new-old-stock or pulled units — worth checking a few of those before assuming you need an alternative board.

3. Confirming M47174-001 / M47174-601:
Yes — both are correct and interchangeable for your exact system. No need to look for a "successor" board; the original is still sourceable.

4. CPU/GPU/RAM/SSD compatibility:
The HANA board natively supports your Ryzen 5 5600G, DDR4, and the RTX 3060 — no compatibility concerns there.

5. PCIe expansion slot for your lab equipment card:
Good news — the HANA board has two PCIe slots, not one:

1x PCI Express 4.0 x16 (used by your RTX 3060)
1x PCI Express 3.0 x1 (free for your lab interface card)

This was confirmed directly from HP's own spec sheet for this board family. As long as your lab card is physically an x1 (or a card that works fine in an x1 slot electrically, like most controller/interface cards), this slot layout supports your exact use case.

6. Reusing your existing SSD/Windows install:
Since this is the same motherboard model (not a different chipset/platform), yes — you should be able to swap the board and boot the existing SSD without a reinstall. Windows 11 generally tolerates a same-model motherboard swap without issue since drivers and chipset stay identical. That said, for a lab-critical machine, it's worth taking a full disk image backup first as a safety net before the swap, purely in case Windows activation or driver state needs a nudge afterward.

1. Correct part number: Your board (202010-1, 348.0DB32.0011) matches M47174-001 / -501 / -601 — confirmed via HP's own compatible-parts list for the GT13-1074. These are the same board, just different packaging suffixes.

2. Availability: No longer sold new through HP directly, but readily available from third-party resellers (Newegg, eBay, compuparts, ascendtech) as new/pulled stock.

3. M47174-001 vs -601: Both are correct and interchangeable for your system.

4. CPU/GPU/RAM compatibility: No concerns — the HANA board natively supports your Ryzen 5 5600G, DDR4, and RTX 3060.

5. Extra PCIe slot for your lab card:  You're covered. The board has:

1x PCIe 4.0 x16 (RTX 3060)
1x PCIe 3.0 x1 (free for your lab equipment card)

6. Reusing your SSD/Windows install: Since it's the same motherboard model, you should be able to swap and boot straight from your existing SSD — no reinstall needed. Still, take a full disk image backup first as a safety net for a lab-critical machine.

Thank you everyone.

Now I am waiting for new motherboard something compatible with my desktop.

Also, it was possible to use our ssd as a additional disk drive for another PC to copy all the data.

Thank you again and have a nice day!
