Hello!

I was wondering if I could replace the pre-installed motherboard to a better one. On the HP website I can't see the specifications of the motherboard I already use. Please help me.

Here's the Motherboard Specs with the info about how much upgrading you can do.

Not sure about the MB upgrade.

Hi,

A couple of thoughts on changing the motherboard (MB):

You will need a new Windows product key.

You may have to replace other components such as RAM and the CPU.

HP does not do this so you have to buy a retail MB. The HP chassis may not work well with a retail MB.

Why do you want to upgrade the motherboard?

Regards
