Product: Example: Pavilion 65XXHP Compaq Elite 8300 Convertible Microtower
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

My PC is an HP, Intel Core i5 3470 CPU 3.20 Hz, I would like to know if I can install on the same Motherboard an Intel Core i7 Processor, 3770 - 3.20 Hz Quad Core Socket 8 Threads CPU Only. If I can not, I would like you to give me the HP Model, Motherboard where I can use that Processor. Thank you very much for your help

Yes, you can install an i7-3770.  Here is the processor that is covered by HP part number 688164-001.

 

Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the computer.  In Chapter 7, Removal and Replacement Procedures Microtower (MT) Chassis, Pages 153 thru 155, it lists the compatible processors and how to install and remove them.
