Hi @MMonroy, I am the Mr.Robot. It looks like you were interacting with @Riddle_Decipher, but he is out of the office today, so I'll take over from here.
I understand you would like to upgrade the graphics card on your PC.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
I have checked the product specifications of your PC.
the ports on your PC are 1 PCI Express x16 (Gen 3.0)
3 PCI Express x1 (Gen 2.0)
I have checked the specifications of the graphics card. GTX 1060 graphics card needs a 400W power supply and an X16 (Gen 3.0 Slot) However, your PC was shipped with a 300W graphics card.
So you have to upgrade the power supply in order to upgrade the graphics cards.
Refer the graphics card specifications page for more information.
Also, Refer the product specifications page of your PC for more information.

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
As I understand you want information on upgrading the graphics card & PSU,
No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
Did you know HP does not recommend changing hardware components as the device is designed to the optimal performance?
(however, you may do so at your own discretion)
While you respond to that, here's what you need to know:
As long as your have a PCI Express x16 expansion slot, you can always add any graphics card that supports a power consumption of 35 W,
If the GPU of your choice, requires more PSU than the above, you could upgrade the PSU accordingly.
I personally suggest you check with the local tech/store to save time as they should be able to connect the device and ensure its working before you purchase any of the parts.
Let me know how that pans out

Thank you for your reply.
I'm aware its not recommended to change the hardware. The thing is my currently GPU I belive it's broken, The fan doesn't spin and the GPU overheats and my performance decreases. Where I live is almost Impossible to find a replacement or fix the GPU and if there is one, it's more expensive than buying a new one.
What problems may occur if I do change the GPU and PSU?
