Can't find the manual describing the motherboard layout of the P6-2315ed
I'm particularly interested in SW2 (for the Power on, Reset .....plugs) since the power supply has to be replaced.

The power supply can be replaced without touching the SW2 wiring.
If you randomly start pulling cables from the motherboard your in DEEP trouble.
More important is the question of your abilities, and the need for the new power supply.
Only the cables leading from the power supply need to be unplugged. The two main cables are the 24 pin ATX, and the 4 pin AUX plugs. After those two, there are power leads to hard drive(s), CD/DVD drive. Sometimes a small 4 pin cable can be found dangling from the power supply. Sometimes that 4 pin is used to feed power to a card reader. Watch this video.

You are right. I came to the same conclusion. I wanted to edit my post. I "make" my own computers and servers so you don't have to be worried. The sw2 switch came from the case. But still wundering why I can't find the manual
