Hello my AIO will not power up, took it to a local PC tech and was told it needs a new motherboard. He quoted me something absurd like $400... can anyone provide me with the replacement board info ao I can order one myself? I have looked numerous places but am not having any luck. Thank you

Hi

I assume you know the relevant details, and if this is a match?

and no Main Board is listed, so next is...

  • HP name: Java-U
  • SSID: 8381

I guess you are out of luck.

Yes, these are the only details I can find as well, and no matches to those numbers anywhere.

Hi

Since he holds the trump card, over 300 quid seems a lot, but I don't think you'll get better elsewhere.

$400 = £312

HP parts surfer will have the part number for ordering a replacement motherboard, this is what the repair shop is using to get a replacement motherboard

Thanks. Yea, I tried http://partsurfer.hp.com/ also... it has like every part EXCEPT the main board 😞

contact hp support and tell them you would like to buy this board but need help locating it on the hp site

if support gives you a run around , contact customer support and ask them the same question

support has to follow certan rules/procedures, whereas customer service might be more flexible
