Product: HP 251-A123W DESKTOP
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I dropped a Glass of water and  now motherboard is shorted. I need the motherboards power distribution corcuit diagram and component specifications. If anybody has it please share it with me or tell me how to get it.

since this is a minitower, with the motherboard enclosed in a vertically standing box, i'm curious just how water would get into it?

 

with that said, i doubt that you can find schematics for most newer systems nowadays as mfgrs are not releasing documentation like this nowadays (which is a crying shame!!)

 

some repair shops who have skilled techs and the necessary test equipment might be able to repair it but since this unit is around 300.00 dollars new it may not make sense to pay to have it repaired

 

even having a schematic might not help much as water can short out just about any part(s) on the board causing the power supply to crowbar due to a short
