Dear HP/helpers,
My RAM is stuck on a speed of 5600. I would love to upgrade my RAM to the max. To do so I need the specs from my Motherboard. Can someone give me the specs, I tried to find it but can't find it online...
Fabricator: HP
Motherboard product: 8D2C
Motherboard version: 00
My PC in use: OMEN 45L Gaming DT GT22-3699nd PC
Productnumber: B8PK2EA#ABH
SN: 8CG51710Q2
I found this page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_10782397-10782445-16
But this has an incorrect Motherboard product: 8CF3
I appreciate any help here 🙂

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
I was unable to find an official HP specs document for your SSID: 8D2C motherboard.
According to these specs, there is a DDR5 PC5-48000, 6000 MHz RAM option, but looking at Userbenchmark OMEN by HP 45L Gaming Desktop GT22-3xxx Users, I haven't seen this RAM, only the 5600 MHz RAM option: HP-branded Kingston 16GB DDR5 PC5-44800, 5600 MHz RAM (p/n: HP60U40S8HA-16FRE), which either runs at 5600 MHz, or is even downclocked at 4800 MHz.
As you probably know, HP has made it very challenging indeed to select non-HP branded RAM options running at top speed.
Look, if I had your system, I would try this matching 2x16GB DDR5 PC5-48000, 6000 MHz RAM kit: Kingston Fury Beast with p/n: KF560C36BBE2K2-32, as seen in this Amazon-US purchase option: https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-2x16GB-6000MT-Desktop-KF560C36BBE2K2-32/dp/B0DCKBGBTP/ref=asc_df_B0D....
See if this RAM will run at 6000 MHz, which is likely the fastest any RAM will (can) run on your system.
Whatever you do, make sure to buy RAM with the option to be able to return it if it doesn't meet your expectations.
Kind Regards,

And lest I forgot to mention it, your PC can be fitted with up to 4x32GB of DDR5 RAM for a total of 128GB.
