Hi all,
I recently purchased a desktop Hp Elite tower 8200 from Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TKBKF3R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This Desktop is NOT the small form factor however, i noticed that I can only put a low profile GPU which I got a gtx 1050 ti.
The CPU fan is in the way which is why I can't add anything bigger.
With that said, I was wondering of I can replace the motherboard with a Gigabyte B450M
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FWVJSHC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 I want to use AMD CPU as well instead of the 4 core i5 it came with. ( of course I will update the PSU to a higher wattage due to adding a bigger gpu if this is possible.)
Is this possible?
Thanks 😄

Hello !
The 8200 have a great case, and I already tried to put another mainboard.
Also with this case its not for low profil
But, for the mainboard it's not possible because the rear panel cannot be removed without damage (the panel with the PS/2 USB, VGA, sound holes)
Just take a look in the case.
I think the only better mainboard you can put is the 8300 one if the rear is the same. The 8300 is better for CPU support but I think that your problem will be the same.
However, you will have lot of space in this case
