I have a Pavilion a6330f and am considering upgrading the motherboard and CPU. I am wondering if an Asus Prime B450M-A motherboard would fit.
I mean, I know it has the same form factor and should physically fit but what worries me is the sockets and extension slots. I am wondering if I would need to remove the mounting standoffs from the case, or even if the mounting standoffs are removable from this case.
If anyone can help me before I purchase the motherboard, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.

@Thisishardwork , welcome to the forum.
Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will give you some perspective on HP components. While it is discussing moving the motherboard to a different case, it has basically the same considerations. I believe that the stand-offs will not be movable. Since the computer is 12 years old there is no information available on it.
