Multi DVD writer for Prodesk

Hi I hope you can help, I have spent hours looking for a replacement DVD multi writer for my Prodesk 400 G2.5 SFF,   I have looked at so many pictures of slimline inserts looking for the right one, but they all look the same to me , so

I have been offered a    Multi DVD Writer 762432-800 781416-001

Will this fit my machine?

A prompt answer would be appreciated

The part you need for the 400 G2 SFF is this one...

657958-001

Slimline 12.7mm DVD±RW Super-Multi dual layer (SMD) optical drive (Jack Black color)

You may want to buy one in used but tested and working condition on eBay.

I picked a random 400 G2 SFF from the parts surfer website to find the above part number.

Thanks for quick response, but mine is a 400 G2.5  with a 9.5 mm slimline drive

Then what you will need to do is to enter the product number for your specific 400 G2 SFF PC in the search box at the link below and get the parts list for your PC's product number.

Then check on eBay for the part number you need for the 9.5mm DVD-RW drive.

I'm coming up with this part number...

As it is, I took the chance and orderd the one offerd, it arrived today and fitted perfectly and is working well.
