EliteDesk 800 G2 Mini
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all

I am stuck with this huge problem. I have a HP EliteDesk 800 G2 mini that no matter what I try, never accepts M.2 drive.

I have tried three different brands of M.2 SSD's none of them where ever detected.

Today, because I claimed warranty, a HP technician came with a replacement motherboard. After replacement we tried different M.2 SSD's and none of them worked.

What is happening here? Can any one advise?

@arifa7med

Where is M.2 SSD slot ? I can't find it from the following link

   https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04786146

It only has PCIe slot for the following options

PCIe Cards
  • HP 512GB Turbo Drive G2 SSD-PCIe Card
  • HP 256GB Turbo Drive SSD-PCIe Card
  • HP 256GB Turbo Drive G2 SSD-PCIe Card
  • HP 128GB Turbo Drive SSD-PCIe Card
  • HP 128GB Turbo Drive G2 SSD-PCIe Card

Regards.

Hi.

You are looking at the wrong product.

It is a HP EliteDesk 800 35W G2 mini

I'm having the same problem with my EliteDesk 800 Mini. A couple days of use, and now the m.2 slot is not being recognized by the BIOS. I've tried mulitple m.2 SSD's and nothing works.
