We own a HP ENVY Recline TouchSmart All in One - 27-k350 and pretty much since we bought it we didn't really used it. When we had about 3 months with it it start braking and we started getting error messages. We really didn't give any importance and never called for the warranty. Now that we really need and want to use it for our personal and work life we get a error that states that the hard drive is not working.
I wonder if we could get some assistance or advice since we really need to fix it and it is still in perfect conditions and we would hate to throw it away if it just needs to be fixed. Now, we are having some financial hardship and would like an inexpensive option.
Thank you, please help.

@ihopkins , welcome to the forum.
Here is a video that should help you replace the hard drive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxGyImgP4OI
It is not the exact model as yours, but it should have a very similar case. You can skip ahead to 1:12 in the video to get to the opening of the case. If you are not comfortable with working on computers you should take it to a qualified computer shop.
Here is a SSD that should work: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-500GB-Internal-MZ-76E500B-AM/dp/B078DPCY3T/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&hvadid...
There are several different sizes available in this ad. You can choose the size that meets your budget. The current hard drive is 1 TB.
In the future, please contact HP or come here to the Forums during the warranty period if you are having problems. The hard drive could have been faulty from the factory and would have been replaced at no charge to you!
