Hi!
I've been trying to burn DVD-R Discs for the DVD Player in my van, for long trips with my kids.
Its been a while, but I've always been successful with my format MP4 & DVD-R Discs from Verbatim. BUT, just recently, it stopped working. Halfway through the burning process, the Disc is ejected & it says "Unknown Error"
Either through 3rd Party Software or through Windows 10 Burning. I've wasted 10 DVDs.
My PC is 3.16GHz & 16 GB of Ram
I don't know what to do.
Drivers are up to date.
Please help, Thank you

I suggest considering replacing the HP DVDRW GUD1N DVD burner.
I am looking at Amazon and see that they are mostly reasonably priced.
I recommend a mainstream brand such as LG, Samsung or Sony
It is quite old and the laser may be on its way out. HP no longer provides support for the the HP DVD-RW GUD1N.
"Its been a while, but I've always been successful with my format MP4 & DVD-R Discs from Verbatim."
The first part of your sentence was a big clue.
