Thanks for the reply, is the computer is not booting or powering up. Please try the steps suggested in this HP Guided Troubleshooter.

The PC will power on but the monitor and the PC isn't interacting.

Perhaps I am a bit slow, but if is the display that isn't working, how would I see this list of adapters or whatever after hitting PF2, etc???

I am having a similar issue with the Pavilion P7-1534...I was able to connect the display to the HDMI port on my laptop to access this site, etc. but seriously do not understand how I can run any diagnostics on the Pavilion without a DISPLAY???
