SSD S700250 GB
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I CAN NOT CONTACT ANYONE IN SUPPORT BECAUSE THE WEBSITE DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THE SERIAL NUMBER FOR MY SSD S700 250 GB.  THE PART NUMBER ON THE BOX SAYS   P/N: 2DP98AA#ABC

VERY SAD SUPPORT

That is the right part. Part # 2DP98AA is for HP S700 250G 2.5 SSDrive. Did you buy that part as standalone part or it came with a computer ? If with a computer, please part OF that computer.

How old is it ?

Regards.

Thanks for the reply Banhien.

I purchased the drive stand-alone from Staples about 6 or 8 weeks ago.

After hours of messing around with the HP website not recognizing the S700 SSD product line, I managed to find out that the correct answer is, "the HP SSD S700 family of solid-state drives is not supported by HP.COM."

I do not understand why that link could not have been listed a lot sooner in the process.

So, next time someone asks why their serial number does not get recognized, you can point them in the correct direction.

Well, that means it is not on HP Database. Sorry I don't know what's next.
