Hi
I have a H-CUPERTINO2-H61-uA TX board with an AMI 2.10.1206 with an i5-2320 processor. I can see on the motherboard that it is connected a connector at 19 F_Audio with some cables following but no loudspeaker connected to them nor way to plug one in.
The effect of this is that Windows 10 shows a white x on a red circle below the loudspeaker symbol that disappears when I plug headphones. BUT the final result of all this is that in settings Manage sound devices Output devices are empty and Input devices where I can see the Realtek High Definition Driver Audio that I installed yesterday DISABLED. What does it happen when I connect a MIDI keyboard as iRig? Is it recognized in Device Manager connected by the generic USB driver as working without problem but a tool like MIDI-OX says : NO OUTPUT DEVICES NO INPUT DEVICE. How can I solve this?
Thanks everyone!

Your machine should be very close to the following machine
HP Pavilion p6-2065uk Desktop PC
It has following ports at its back
- USB 2.0: 4
- LAN
- DVI-D port
- VGA port
- Audio: Line in
- Audio: Line out
- Audio: Microphone
You should be able to connect speakers to your machine using Line out (3.5mm jack).
Regards.

Hi
Maybe I didn't explain myself clearly. Yes, I can use the line out or maybe the USB port to plug a loudspeaker, but what would it be the difference between those with plugging headphones. Now I can plug in headphones and I can hear the audio. THE POINT here is that because I don't have a built-in loudspeaker when I installed windows 10 "the final result of all this is that in settings Manage sound devices Output devices are empty and Input devices where I can see the Realtek High Definition Driver Audio that I installed is DISABLED". That is the configuration problem to solve because now I plugged an iRig keys MIDI keyboard and there is NO OUTPUT DEVICES, NO INPUT DEVICE and theretofore MIDI doesn't produce any sound.
I have checked to install a Soundblaster card. That it didn't help at all. Doesn't change anything
I am going to reformulate the question, lets say that I want to add a built-in loudspeaker like the majority of desktop computers that are very useful to decode POST BEEP ERROR SIGNALS for example, how should I have to connect it to the Cupertino motherboard?

Firstly if you need sound you need a speaker. You can add speakers to your machine using line out port. I don't know your iRig device, how do you connect it to your computer ?
Updated: From my research it does not support a computer

Does your motherboard have a "speaker" pin-out:
that is compatible with:
https://www.amazon.ca/Ronyme-Computer-Mainboard-Motherboard-Internal/dp/B08QHGZZD7/ref=sr_1_4_sspa
if all you want is to "beep", not a full speaker?
Please ignore that the embedded image has the labelled "POWER LED" connectors connected to the "+MSG-" pair of pins, instead of to the "+PW-" pair of pins.

Does your motherboard have a "speaker" pin-out:
The cupertino2 motherboard that I have is missing the connector AND the chips that make the speaker work. I tried soldering pins and tested with a speaker and NOGO was the result
Am, removing pins I had added

@BeemerBiker -- that is nice clear picture. Can you take a picture that shows all those "yellow" pins, to see the characters that precede the "DIO" characters?

Here is the whole picture in all its glory

@BeemerBiker -- eventually I will be able to upload an avatar of my BMW R1100rt
Off-topic, but I am not sure how that will help ?
It definitely looks like the manufacturer disabled the use of that pair of pins.
That 2-by-5 grid of yellow pins seems to be "front-audio" (maybe 5 channel?) -- the second-from-the-bottom pin along the left edge seems to be bent out of alignment.
I wonder if that "mini-LED" socket is designed to "blink" the beep-pattern, instead of using audio-output of the beeps ??? Or, maybe, the LEDs on the keyboard/mouse are made to "blink" the beep-codes?
I wonder if you remove ALL the RAM, and then power-on, then the "there is no RAM" beep-code may be visual ???
