Can you borrow a USB keyboard from a friend, and connect it to your computer? Does it work correctly?

Is the HP Warranty for the computer still valid? If so, HP will repair/replace your computer.

If not, then, for a fee, HP will repair your computer, as would any HP-certified computer technician .

Or, disconnect the AC power-cord from the computer. Press the on/off button, to "drain" any residual power. Reconnect the power-cord. Does the computer now start-up normally?
