Ubuntu 22.x LTS

My computer is the HP EliteDesk 800 G1 sff.

My HP wireless mouse & keyboard aren't working. Funny thing, it only had 1 USB thing & instructions said to put it in the keyboard (it didn't even plug into anything, it just sits there in a perfect holster).

The instructions say to hold down the mouse for 3 seconds until the light blinks, which I did twice.

Is my computer too old to use this hardware ?

Much thanks for anyone that can help!

Addendum: I just ordered this, will that solve my problem:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CCMUN8C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1pd_rd_i...

Problem solved. I took the USB dongle out of the keyboard and plugged it in the Desktop - even though HP'a spcific instructions, which was just 4 drawings with no words, their instructions clearly showed that the purchaser to put the usb dongle into the keyboard.

Marking as solved!

Thanks all!
