Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I want to use an Ethernet connection but there is no port.  There is an hdmi port. Can I connect to the Ethernet with an Ethernet to hdmi cable?

Hi:

 

I'm not sure you can do that, but you can purchase a USB to RJ-45 gigabit ethernet adapter and use that to connect via ethernet cable.

 

Something like this...

This device needs a driver in order to work on W11, and the user guide sends you to a link to download it from the Realtek website.

 

There is a W11 auto installation file.

 

Usually, it is a zip file that you download, unzip and run the setup application you see inside the folder.

I have not come across an HDMI to Ethernet cable or device but there are USB to Ethernet adapters.

here is an example
