Hello!
I have a OMEN HP Computer and i want to upgrade my GPU.
I want to install a NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060 GAMING X 12 GB GDDR6.
Can someone help know if this GPU is compatible with my PC specs? Here's them:
- CPU: INTEL CORE I7-9700F (TDP 65W)
- MAINBOARD: HP 84FD (PCI-Express 3.0 8.0 GT/s) with GI Maximum supported x16 and 8.0 GT/s
- MEMORY: DUAL DDR4 16 GB
- INTERNAL PSU 500W
I give the chassis misures too:
- Height: 43,31 cm (17,05 inchs) without external packaging
- Width: 16,51 cm (6,5 inchs) without external packaging
- Depth: 35,71 cm (14,06 inchs) without external packaging

Hi
You need a minimum 550 watt PSU having at least one six pin and one eight pin connectors to the Nvidia PCIe 12 pin adapter.
You have a 500 watt PSU. Your PC does not meet this minimum requirement. I prefer to add a power supply buffer to the minimum wattage when installing graphics cards.
You could try this if your HP PSU has the required connections to the Nvidia graphic card adapter.
Your call. You may experience instability when GPU and CPU loads exceed PSU limits.
