HP ENVY 27 27-inch Display
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask about my issue, but HP support hasn't really led me to any solutions.  I recently purchased an HP 27 27-inch Display from ebay, and I am now aware that the product I purchased, while still very good, does not include the proprietary VESA mount adapter so that I can mount the monitor to my VESA complient arm.  I looked all over the internet and even contacted HP directly through both their chat feature and by phone but no one can tell me how I can get the adapter.  Or where I can get the adapter for that matter.  I don't really care that I will have to pay extra for it, I just want to know where and how I can get it being that all the other HP VESA mount adapters are not compatible with my monitor.

@dylanhardman, welcome to the forum.

I suggest trying HP Partsurfer to see if they have one available.  Otherwise, try one of your local computer shops to see if they can get one.

I have tried looking through HP PartSurfer... and there is nothing.  Trying to find somewhere on the internet I can find the adapter because I highly doubt any local computer store (which I have very few of) will have such a specific item.

Thank you for the additional information, @dylanhardman.

I ran a search for a VESA adapter for your monitor and here is one that came up:

https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Pavilion-Monitors-Compare-L6V75AA/dp/B01DNCP7HW

You will have to add any additional letters that are in the model to assure that the adapter will work properly.

yea almost positive that adapter is not compatible, as the adapter for the monitor I have looks like this and goes into the notch on the bottom...Capture.JPG

As I said in my previous post, you will have to add the additional letters (xw, es, er, etc.)  They are necessary to assure that the adapter is correct.  I didn't have the letters when I ran the search.

The thing is about this monitor, there are no extra letters.  Its named like the other 4k monitors are, for instance the HP 32 Studio Display is named just that with no letters.  So you're running the search correctly, but are running into the same issue I am where that adapter is not easily found and obtained since HP refuses to sell the adapter.

@dylanhardman, it is not that HP refuses to sell it, they simply don't always sell accessories for all of their products.  It depends on how much demand there is for them.  This is where the third party vendors come into play.  You should call a few of their Customer Support lines to see if they can help you.  This is what I do when I can't find what I need.
