Hi all,
I have a HP Pavilion Power 580-015na Desktop PC and I'm big need of upgrading the graphics card as it is no longer functioning the way it used to + it runs games at 1-20fps, which is not great to say the least.
Can anyone recommend a graphics card that could replace the current one and meet my expectations (run smoother and have the compatiblity of running 60fps on games), please?
Thanks!

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!
Your HP Pavilion Power 580-015na Desktop PC (2BV39EA), according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05547269, is fitted with the Odense2-K motherboard (SSID: 82F1) and a 180-watt power supply.
In order to power any meaningful graphics card, you'll have to upgrade your power supply. Your 180-watt PSU has got to go. Fortunately, your motherboard is 24-pin ATX-power enabled, meaning, you can upgrade it with any industry standard ATX power supply as long as you watch its dimensions (LxWxH) for fit inside your case.
I would recommend a 500-watt power supply, and to keep cost down but greatly increase your gaming enjoyment, I would take a look at graphics cards such as a GTX 1080, RTX 2060 Super, RTX 2070, RTX 3050, RTX 3060, or an RTX 4060. Also check out eBay-UK for pre-owned cards.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,

Hi,
Thanks for a quick and very detailed reply - it definitely helps!
From your suggestions (GTX 1080, RTX 2060 Super, RTX 2070, RTX 3050, RTX 3060, or an RTX 4060. ), which one is the most suitable for my PC in your opinion?

Well, it depends mostly on your budget. Once you got a 500-watt power supply installed, you got options.
Personally, I would recommend either an RTX 2070, an RTX 3060, or an RTX 4060. Shop around, and see what deals you can find.
