I have tried 2 different NVMe SSD's from 2 different manufacturers and neither were recognized in bios. I have checked and the slot is enabled.
Any suggestions?

Hi:
This discussion confirms my opinion that the Maple motherboard only supports SATA M.2 SSD's, not NVMe.
Normally notebook and desktop PC motherboards that only support the AMD 7th gen processors, if they have a M.2 slot only SATA M.2 SSD's are supported. The Maple motherboard only supports the 7th gen AMD processors.

NVMe support comes with PC's that have the newer Ryzen processors.
So if you want to install a M.2 SSD, it will have to be SATA.

Hi:
What is the product number of your PC?
Use this guide to find that information...please do not post the serial number.

Since you have tried two different model NVMe SSD's and neither of them worked, there is a good possibility the M.2 slot your PC motherboard comes with only supports SATA M.2 SSD's.

Slimline 270-A016, Z5M51AA#ABA. I believe it is a Maple mother board. I researched ahead of buying to see if it had an M.2 slot. It has 2. One where the wireless chip is and one for SSD. Perhaps there is something I should do.

You're very welcome.
If you want a SATA M.2 SSD, I recommend the WD Blue SATA M.2 series. Best performance for the price.
This is the 500 GB model for example...
