WD Black SN770 NVMe 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD

Does Gen 4 NVMe SSD's support HP Laptop 15 da 0000ne with Intel i3 7th gen processor to install it as an external storage in the laptop

Gen 4. NVMe SSDs are supported but they will not run at their maximum advertised read/write speeds because your notebook's M.2 slot is only PCIe Gen 3.0.

Also I don't know what you mean by external storage.  The notebook has support for an internal M.2 NVME SSD.

If you want to use one for external storage you will need to put it inside a USB3 to NVMe adapter.
