Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I'm working on a computer for my parents, and using the HP Diagnostic UEFI test, I received a failure ID I cannot translate or find a database to translate it with. Could I get some help here?

Failure ID: 0GF3MG-710A5A-9XPJXA-8D7V03

Product: F3D64AA

After those codes was there additional information such as specifying a hard drive or hard drive test?

My Info:
"Currently owning an Elitedesk 600 G3 running smooth as silk with Windows 11. But servicing Desktop and laptops running Windows"

All that I can add is that it was a USB Port test. Sorry about that!

Hi, @KTSmith96

Here is a translation of the failure code.  The only additional information those codes provide is the serial number of the PC, which I have deleted from the report, as it is a violation of the forum rules to post serial numbers.

Thank you so much for the help! Is there any known fix for the error?

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, none that I know of.

I imagine that unless the USB ports are on a removable card, the motherboard would have to be replaced.

Are all the USB ports dead?

The specs for that PC indicate that it has USB 2 and USB 3 ports in the back, and 2 USB 3 ports in the front.

There are no expansion slots on the motherboard to even add a PCIe x1 USB card.

I'm thinking if all the ports are not working, the motherboard is shot.

I suppose you can try reinstalling Windows, and hope that it was a software issue, and not one with the hardware itself.

You would need to back up your parents' files onto a portable hard drive before proceeding with reinstalling windows, or factory resetting the PC.
