Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good afternoon,
I have recently purchased an HP Pavilion TP01-1030 desktop for my wife's office,
and would like to upgrade the RAM.  It is brand new, and came factory installed with only 8GB.

I have found an article from HP that says this model come with 8GB DDR4-2666 unbuffered . . . and will support up tyo 32GB on the 64bit version of windows 10 that this computer has installed from factory.  The HP site also says that "supports up to PC4-23400, DDR4-2933."

However, I ordered a 16GB set (of 2 8GB) from A-TECH, but they do not work in the machine at all.
I need some help in finding the correct RAM (from 16GB - 32GB) that will work in this desktop computer.
Your help is greatly appreciated !

Sincerely,
Eric Wilson

I take it your system had a pair of 4gb and you had to pull both and that was why you bought two sticks of 8gb.

Many HP systems have the speed hard coded in the bios and buying faster ram can cause failure.  If your system came with a single 8gb stick then get one just like it on ebay or the the hp approved parts store using the same part number of the memory stick.  If the memory stick is not legible then CPUz can be downloaded and run to find the memory manufacturer and model.

I went here and put in "TP01-1030" and there are 4 possibilities and I picked the first one

the following memory was recommended

please go there and put in product ID, not the model name like I did and see if the memory recommended is the same as the one I found

You can use 934254-800 (or what you found) and look it up on eBay or here (IF IN STOCK)
