Howdy,
A week ago the CPU cooling fan that is mounted directly on the board quit working and the PC shut down. Error Code "CPU Fan (90B)". After looking for a replacement part for the Wistron P/N360.06EOU.0001 I was unable to find an exact match. I purchased a Thermaltake P/N:CLP0556 and Thermal paste however, this fan apparently does not reach the chip when screwed all the way down so I received a Thermal shutdown after a few minutes of operation. I need to find the right part to replace the CPU fan..
Does anyone know what Part Number from what manufacturer will replace the stock CPU fan from this computer? Picture of the OEM part below
Thanks!The old dead fan

Here is the fan on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/c/23017309679
It is used, but it is free shipping.

Yes it worked however, watch out.
Both the parts listed in this thread (HP P/N 644724-001 and ThermalTake P/N:CLP0556) will solve the problem.
Watch out. Because the stock fan from HP is short it has an extension base taped to the back of the motherboard. You have to pull the motherboard out and replace the mounting base as well as the fan. And don't forget the Thermal Paste.
Hope this helps.
