Product: HP ENVY 700-215xt CTO Desktop PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade my oem gpu but when looking at my motherboard which is the IPM87-MP there's a metal kind of latch I want to know what is is and is it necessary or can I just yank it off to make room for the bigger gpu

I understand you are facing an issue with your motherboard part. motherboard which is the IPM87-MP there's a metal kind of latch Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

Could  share the image of the part, and the Name of the part
