Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, here is the story. First, I live in France, and all my messages are in French. I will translate.

I am on Windows 11.

I plugged a USB stick into the 3.1 USB port described as "sleep and charge" in the manual. The stick was formatted in NTFS and I reformatted it to FAT32, for my own reasons. After the very quick operation, I got a message of a power surge, saying my device wanted more power than the port could provide. I unplugged the stick, but when I tried to use the port again, it did not respond. In device manager it was shown as not currently connected to the computer (code 45), with the advice to reconnect it (!) Somewhere I saw that Windows 11 does not support FAT32. Too late.

A more serious solution was to uninstall the port and restart the computer. Unfortunately that did not reconnect the port, despite several attempts. Another solution was to look for a new and more recent driver for the port. I did not find one.

So now I am at a loss. My 3.1 port is a useless hole. Other than that the computer works perfectly.

Does anyone have a solution? My anticipated thanks.
