You're very welcome.

What I would do if it were me, would be to remove the fan and take it to a local PC repair shop and see if they can match it up with a fan that would work (size, wiring, and RPM).

I did find one fan on Amazon, and you could buy a refurbished PC for the price and shipping they want!

Hi:

Below is the link to the parts list for your PC.

http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=H3Z18AA

The system fan is:

645578-001System Fan, 3800RPM

You have to order the heatsink in order to get the processor cooling fan.

644724-001Heatsink - 95W, Kidd

If you google the part number, you will see the fan is included with the heatsink.

I would imagine you can remove the fan from the old heatsink and replace it with the new fan.

That would save you the hassle of having to clean and reapply thermal paste.

If you can't get the parts from the HP parts store, you will have to find them on the secondary market somewhere.

Thank you for your help.  I found the processor fan on Amazon.

I do need help finding the System Fan Part Number: 645578-001   3800RPM.

I have tried searching the part number on HP, Google, Amazon and in desperation E-Bay but I have not been able to find a replacement fan.

Does anyone know where I can look to find the fan or if there is an aftermarked replacement fan that I can use?

Thank You

Thank You so much for your help.  I saw that other fan for $95 plus shipping.  Talk about price gouging.

Anyway I was able to find both fans on Amazon.  For the Case fan I used the Foxcon part number that is on the fan itself rather than HP's part number (Foxconn PVA092G12H) Thanks again for your help

Anytime.

Glad to have been of assistance, and that is fantastic that you were able to find the right fan by using the mfr's part number, and no doubt got it at a reasonable price too.

The fan that the one seller wanted $95 + $35 shipping for I found new for $7.25 + $5 shipping.

Both fans cost just under $34 including shipping.
