Does any one know what these Were supposed to be for?

and before you say it. yes I know the images are a little grainy.

My guess .

 

The small one you are holding is a 4 pin power connector to a floppy disk drive.

The other is a 4 pin power connector for a DVD or HDD on an IDE system.

 

Usually containing 5v supply and 12 volt supply.

 

If in doubt please ask.
