HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0038
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The PC I have is a HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0038.

The power supply with my pc only supports 310 Watts, so im thinking of upgrading to the L05757-800 500W PSU

Problem is, im unsure if it supports the GPU I want to use (2080ti)

if it needs an power adapter of some sort let me know please!

TechPowerUp is a good reference guide for video boards

The RTX 2080 TI needs a 600 watt as shown here

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-rtx-2080-ti.c3305

You might scroll the "relative performance" both up and down and examine various boards to see if the fit both your budget and the 500 watt power supply

The RTX 3060 seems to be a better fit

Thanks, I’ll get a 3060. But I still have the same question: does the 500w psu have the right cables or do I need an adapter?

hi

all graphics cards look alike, but are not necessarily identical!
You need to check , which is indicated by the chosen card manufacturer
as for the model of this power supply , it is specified

This morning I was able to install a L05757-800 and a MSI RTX 3060-ti into my Envy (TE01-1134)!
