The HP Engage Flex Pro Retail System did not come with a pre-installed Wi-Fi card. To select a compatible Wi-Fi card for this system, follow these guidelines:

Check Expansion Slots:
Ensure that your system's motherboard has available PCIe expansion slots suitable for adding a Wi-Fi card. This system typically includes PCIe x1 and PCIe x16 slots which are commonly used for Wi-Fi cards.

Choose Compatible Wi-Fi Standards:
Choose a Wi-Fi card supporting the latest standards, such as Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), for better speed and efficiency. Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) is also a viable option if you do not require the latest features.

Antennas and External Connections:
If you are considering a card with external antennas, it's crucial to place them for optimal signal reception. This system recommends positioning the antenna to allow a clear line of sight to your router or access point, preferably at a distance of more than 40 cm (15.8 inches) from the computer to avoid interference (Connecting external Wi-Fi antennas).

Installation and Compatibility:
Ensure that the card you select is compatible with your system's power supply and has drivers available for your operating system. Most Wi-Fi cards are plug-and-play, but checking driver support is wise, particularly for older operating systems.
